Ramesh Sahani currently works at the Department of Anthropology, Panjab University. Prior I was associated with Anthropological Survey of India for 20 years. I was posted at different places. I feel proud to work among the tribes of Andaman & Nicobar Island. Though, my specialization is biological, but also worked in Cultural Anthropology and other emerging field such as social impact assessment, molecular anthropology and cognitive sciences, etc. The remarkable contribution of our research is ” Particularly Vulnerable —- an Overview” and it crossed 6000 reads. My paper Jarawa- was cited in current Anthropology. Our most recent publication is ‘Comparative study of chronic energy deficiency among adult males of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and their counterparts’.
